No, and that is the point. Quantities come from explicit formulas against your inputs. The AI reads plans, flags quantities that look wrong against the rest of the job, and suggests things you may have missed, but it is never the thing that decides a number, so every figure traces back to a rule you can read.

Credits meter the four things that call a paid AI model, and nothing else. Scanning a plan costs one credit per page, asking the assistant a question costs one, and running a playbook or pulling a supplier price list into your catalogue costs two. Running a take-off, re-running it after an override, editing inputs, pricing, comparing versions, exporting, raising purchase orders and back-costing all cost nothing. Charging for those would make you think twice about correcting an estimate. Work that fails is never charged for: a scan that produced no pages, an assistant answer that never arrived, a playbook that stopped short. Credits are prepaid and never expire: the whole workspace draws on one balance, unused credits stay in the workspace, and credits are not transferable between workspaces.

Four one-off packs: 50 credits at A$79, 200 at A$279, 500 at A$639 and 1,000 at A$1,159. Bigger packs cost less per credit: from A$1.58 a credit on the entry pack down to A$1.16 on the 1,000 pack. Those are founder prices, 20% off list while QuoteSmiths is new, with no published end date. Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST, and every workspace starts free with 25 credits before any pack is needed.

Credit packs are requested from the credits screen: your request goes to QuoteSmiths, we confirm it, the credits are added to your workspace, and a tax invoice follows by email. There is no card payment in the app yet, so nothing recurring is set up, and there is nothing to cancel.

No. The trial gives you 25 credits with the full engine and every export, and takes no card. Credit packs are one-off with no subscription attached and nothing recurring to cancel, and credits never expire. Buy one when the work calls for it, and the balance waits for you between jobs.

Yes. A workspace holds invited users with roles, and jobs are centralised across the team rather than sitting with whoever created them. You are responsible for what happens under the accounts you invite.

That is the Premium arrangement, and it is agreed with us in writing rather than switched on from a pricing page. Providing QuoteSmiths as your own service without that agreement is not permitted under the Terms.

Yes. Supplier price lists, quotes, spreadsheets and even photographs of a quote can be read into the SKU catalogue, and purchase orders can be raised from the bill of materials with back-costing actuals recorded against the job.

Yes, as a one-off service. Send us what your suppliers send you, price lists, quotes, spreadsheets, a PDF or a photograph of a quote, and we build your SKU catalogue and supplier register inside your workspace: items loaded and de-duplicated, suppliers set up with their terms, and the whole thing checked against your own pricing before you touch it. A$200 plus GST, one-off, covering up to 500 SKUs and 20 suppliers, and the credits the reading uses are on us. More than that, or data that arrives in a difficult state, and we quote you first. You can also do all of this yourself: the catalogue reader is in the product and a supplier price list costs two credits, so what you are paying for here is the gathering, the tidying and the checking rather than anything the software cannot do. To arrange it, start a workspace, which takes no card, and reply to any email we send you.

Purchase orders export as Xero bills and the approved bill of materials exports as a customer invoice, both in the CSV Xero imports, and the invoice bills what the client was quoted, not whatever the catalogue says on the day you export. A general API and webhooks are planned; neither is built, so nothing in the product depends on them today.

It is an estimate and you must verify it. Check it against the plans, against current supplier pricing, and against the National Construction Code and the relevant Australian Standards before you order material, submit a price or enter a contract. QuoteSmiths is a tool, not a substitute for a qualified estimator, engineer, certifier or licensed builder.

You keep ownership of them. Each page is rendered to an image and sent to the vision provider that reads the drawing, which means anything printed on the title block, including a client name and site address, goes with it. The Privacy Policy names every recipient and where they are.
